The Information Technology Consultant shall be instrumental in reinforcing the IT Department's efforts in managing all facets of the technology infrastructure pertinent to our online tutoring service's routine operations. The scope of work encompasses user assistance, end-user remote computing support, configuration and maintenance, remote desktop assistance for parents, educators, and students, orchestrating schedules among teachers, parents, and students, concurrent oversight of live tutoring sessions, and rendering aid with infrastructure upkeep and other technological requirements inherent to our virtual education platform.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Working Hours: The Information Technology Consultant must be accessible from 2:30 pm to 9:45 pm PST, Monday through Friday. This position is on-site, with offices located in Torrance, California.
• Facilitate the organization of tutoring sessions within the digital education program.
• Concurrently supervise all designated sessions involving students and instructors.
• Log, monitor, and document the help desk inquiry resolution process, encompassing all fruitful and unsuccessful decisions made and actions undertaken until the ultimate resolution.
• Execute post-resolution follow-ups in response to help requests.
• Furnish live chat assistance to parents and students during technical complications.
• Possess the capacity to communicate efficaciously via telephone during support sessions.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Prior experience in the IT sector is mandatory.
• Remote assistance expertise.
• Familiarity with Zoom meetings in an administrative capacity.
• Proficiency with WordPress in an administrative role.
• Data entry background.
• Customer service experience.
