We are focused in the consumer pet market, selling pet related safety services to pet owners. We are far past the 'idea' phase and ready to launch a world class product. This is NOT for interns. We require high quality, seasoned, outstanding professional engineers.

We are looking for a Back End Developer / Senior Engineer to architect and implement features in our first to market service.
THE ROLE:
You will lead the build with the support of the founder. Together you'll spec the backend needed for launch. Ideally, you have previous experience and have successfully launched a new consumer service/product from idea/concept to fruition. We are looking for a rock-star team.
We are fully remote but preferably you are in the SF Bay Area/Silicon Valley.

Conducted 7 rounds of testing, ready for the final test before product launch
Marketing, Branding and Product Design is complete
Secured hardware design patents and trademarks
Gained significant press during previous testing phases
Our goal is to be the household name for pet safety and up end the pet market (ICYMI the pet market has an $261B annual market size - compared to $85B gaming market).

Requirements:
5+ years of professional programming experience
5+ years of professional experience with back applications like Django, AWS, etc. in a JavaScript architecture
Expert experience with MySQL, databases, stored procedures, and functions
Expert experience in building the backend for B2C applications
Expert experience in APIs build
You use Git for code version control
Are a strong communicator, both synchronously and asynchronously
Are excited about being a part of (and creating!) an engineering culture that is strong, dynamic and results-oriented
Commitment: This is a almost full-time (30+ hours per week) position.
