Our company culture

Working at SeeScan is unlike working for other companies of our size. While we have the stability of a larger company—we’ve been in business for nearly 40 years and sell our products worldwide—the SeeScan environment feels like a smaller, tight-knit community. Our casual, people-first culture goes hand-in-hand with our focus on the talent and potential of our employees. Our investment in employee success is reflected in the longevity of most of our team – more than half of us have been here more than five years, and nearly a third have been here more than ten. We’ll give you the tools you need to succeed, and we want to see you grow with us.

What we’re looking for

Across our organization, we’re looking for people who embody our values of continuous learning, passion, and fairness. Whether you’re designing the latest tech, building our products on the production floor, or keeping our business running and profitable, we want people who approach problems with a can-do attitude and who are eager to be part of a team. Our goal is to create the best products in our industries – as a privately-owned company, we place excellence first, and we seek employees who will help us continue our trend of sustainable growth and innovation.

In this position, you will
  • Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling techniques to facilitate management’s discovery into insights that will guide business decisions and uncover optimization opportunities
  • Respond to ad-hoc and premeditated reporting needs by designing, building, developing, and maintaining automated dashboards that show real-time and historical performance
  • Design new dashboards and data customizations in a dynamic and growing organization
  • Develop a broad understanding of our products and business processes across all functions in the company, ranging from Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Finance
  • Anticipate future demands of the departments and be able to articulate the business needs in fulfilling those demands
About you
  • Proficiency in the following technical skills
    • Using DAX queries in Power BI to make advanced level calculations on a data set
    • Developing custom visuals in Power BI
    • Experience working with several types of data sources (Excel, SQL Server, etc)
  • Experience with being the technical liaison between the business users and development team
  • Effective communication skills
  • Able to work efficiently both independently and on a team
  • High attention to detail
Compensation

The salary range for this position is $68,000 to $90,000 annually.

This range represents a good faith estimate based on the qualifications we expect to find in a successful candidate. Actual compensation offered may be less or greater than this estimate based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, our assessment of your ability to bring value to our organization.

We offer
  • A position within an established company with nearly 40 years in business
  • A culture of transparency, growth, and innovation
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Traditional and Roth 401(k) investment options
  • Flexible Paid Time Off plan with no cap or “use it or lose it” requirement
If this position is of interest, please submit your application, including your resume and a thoughtful cover letter explaining why you are the ideal candidate for this position, to https://careers.seescan.com/position/972.
