We are currently seeking a retired Transactional or Litigation Corporate Attorney to join our team as a Contract Review Specialist.
Job Description:
As a Contract Review Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our company by providing expert legal guidance and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our contracts, operating agreements, and other company documents. Your extensive experience in transactional or litigation corporate law will be instrumental in protecting our company's interests and minimizing legal risks. This is a part-time, contract-based position.
Responsibilities:
Review and analyze contracts, agreements, leases, and other legal documents
Identify potential legal issues, risks, and liabilities
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to negotiate and amend contract terms when necessary
Provide legal advice and recommendations to management and other departments
Assist in drafting and revising contracts and operating agreements
Conduct legal research to stay updated on industry regulations and best practices
Review and provide input on corporate policies and procedures
Maintain accurate and organized records of all legal documents and correspondences
Requirements:
Retired corporate attorney with specialized experience in transactional or litigation law
Strong knowledge of contract law and corporate legal principles
Familiarity with real estate contracts and agreements is highly desirable
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in legal research and conducting due diligence
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Must be based in the Los Angeles area
