Are you a legal eagle with a passion for process serving and court couriering? Our fast-paced, family-oriented statewide legal support company is currently on the hunt for a dynamic Process Server to join our close-knit team. With over 30 years of experience under our belt, we're a solid and growing company that values teamwork, accuracy, and exceptional customer service.
As our newest team member, you'll be responsible for transcribing handwritten data into our data entry system, updating case information in our software program, and serving legal-related documents to individuals and businesses. You'll also be hand-filing court-related documents to state and federal courthouses. It's a fast-paced and challenging role that requires a sharp mind, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering results.
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and start ASAP. This full-time position calls for 40 hours a week, split into four 10-hour shifts, starting from our Sacramento office location. We're offering a competitive starting pay of $18.00 per hour, plus a company vehicle to use during your shift.
Qualifications:
• Registered/Bonded not required but preferred, we will train
• One year experience not required but preferred, we will train
• Clean driving record.
• High School Diploma or GED required (Some college is preferred)
• Ability to maintain punctuality and attendance is necessary.
• Ability to demonstrate effective written and verbal communications with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficient in following specific and detailed instructions in both written and verbal form.
• Capable of multitasking while dealing with frequent interruptions.
• Effective in prioritizing a multitude of tasks and assignments.
• Exceptionally organized and detail oriented.
