The Law Offices of Samuel Dagan seeks a Civil Litigation Attorney with approximately 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably with a focus on plaintiff cases.
This position requires drafting civil and DFEH complaints and filing them with the appropriate courts, conducting discovery, arbitrations, depositions and law motions on auto accident, premise liability, wrongful termination and product liability cases.
We are looking for a contract attorney who is prepared to work approximately 20 hours per week remotely with some office time. The ideal candidate will work closely with the firm’s clients, administrative staff, and attorneys.

Responsibilities:
Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies
Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
Coordinate with paralegals and administrative staff in connection with cases
Qualifications:
Successful completion of accredited law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree
1 year of experience practicing civil litigation
Must be an active member of the California Bar Association
Advanced computer skills including working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) and other software (WordPerfect; Adobe Acrobat) preferred
Must be able to handle case load with little supervision
Decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must
