Fast paced and rapidly growing trial and litigation law firm seeks paralegal with at least 1-3 years personal injury litigation experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, proactive, detail-oriented, extremely organized, and able to work in an environment while managing multiple cases at a time.

Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred) and a paralegal certificate is desired; however, we are open to candidates that have sufficient experience absent a paralegal certificate. This is not a remote position.

Duties:
Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and post-trial activities
Organize and maintain case files, including filing documents
Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
Prepare and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and subpoenas
Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel to schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances
Noticing and objecting to depositions
Calendaring depositions, hearing dates and all deadlines (pleadings, motions, discovery, etc.)
Scheduling court reporters, and requesting transcripts
Review and proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
Use case management software to keep cases organized and updated.


Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in data entry and document management systems
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with file management
