About the Job
Nationally recognized plaintiff’s litigation firm seeks an experienced paralegal for our Los Angeles.

We are seeking candidates with 3 to 5 years of litigation experience, including trials and preferably with a history of working on behalf of plaintiffs. The responsibilities of the position include filing in state and federal courts, assistance with drafting pleadings, assistance with discovery, preparation for trials and handling client calls.

Due to the fast past environment, efficiency, organization, attention to detail, ability to prioritize duties and a positive attitude are a must.

Basic Responsibilities
• Draft and send correspondence
• Order and review medical records and medical bills
• Draft pleadings, discovery, and demand letters
• Prepare legal documents
• Communicate with the court and other attorneys
• Provide administrative and clerical support as needed
• Prepare trial binders

Skills & Qualifications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with federal and state codes of civil procedure and litigation processes
• Solid communication skills both written and verbal
• Resourceful and proactive in dealing with internal and external issues
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and work under pressure
• Ability to negotiate and problem solve
• Compensation: DOE

Education and Experience:
• CA B&P Code 6450 Paralegal Certificate preferred.
• Minimum 3 years litigation experience
• Plaintiff personal injury experience preferred.
