General Summary: Responsible for reviewing incoming correspondence to calendar and manage dates for foreign Patents and Trademarks matters. Work cohesively with team members to provide reliable dockets and efficient support for attorneys and staff.

Responsibilities:
• Process incoming International correspondence.
• Careful analysis of International correspondence to determine if dates need to be docketed, updated or closed.
• Provide quality control review of outgoing Patent and Trademark applications and responses.
• Add and update matters in the docketing system.
• Ensure that incoming correspondence is processed correctly and in a timely manner.
• Review work processed by docketing agents.
• Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications:
• Legal experience or interest.
• Previous clerical and data entry experience demanding a high attention to detail. Previous experience as a Docketing Agent is desirable.
• Excellent computer skills and tech savvy; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of Computer Packages, Inc. (CPi) is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills are required.
• Ability to extract dates and deadlines from complex written communications.
• Effective writing skills; excellent proofreading, spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Quick learner and strong multi-tasking skills are required.
• Able to adapt to constantly changing procedures and rules.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Team player, ability to receive and give constructive criticism, and a positive attitude is a must.
• Must meet minimum testing requirements.
• Ability to manage high volume of correspondence with minimal supervision.
• Able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.

Base salary for this position is $55,000 - $95,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.

Supervisor’s Title: International Docketing Supervisor
Status: Full Time, Non-Exempt
Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Remote/Hybrid options available. This position depends upon the ability of the employee to work closely with attorneys and staff members during regularly scheduled hours. This position requires ability to work overtime, which often cannot be predicted in advance.
