LLG is a Plaintiff's side firm specializing in employment law. At LLG, attorney work-life balance is an important aspect of our culture. LLG is seeking an associate attorney to join our litigation team. Newly barred attorneys are encouraged to apply. This position will be responsible for providing legal representation to Plaintiffs, specifically in employment law matters. The attorney will also be responsible for, among other things, drafting pleadings, motions, written discovery, attending depositions, and other procedures related to client matters as outlined in the Responsibilities section below. The candidate must be admitted to the bar in California and have an upbeat personality.
Responsibilities:
-Drafting pleadings and other documents related to client matters
-Communicating with clients and managing their cases
-Drafting motions, oppositions, and replies as needed
-Preparing discovery requests and responses
-Attending depositions (first defending depositions and with time taking depositions)
-Managing client files and records as needed
-Managing calendars and deadlines for various cases
-Attending court hearings
-Opportunity to attend mediations with the managing attorney
-Working with attorneys at other law firms as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
