Personal Care Attendant Needed
Downtown Berkeley, near University & MLK
Evening Shift, 5:30 - 9:30 PM, Monday - Thursday
$20-25/hr. Must be registered with the IHSS Alameda County or willing to enroll
About me: I am a professional active 54-year-old quadriplegic man with a C5/6 spinal cord injury, looking for a personal attendant for assistance in daily living, personal healing and enjoyment of life.
About you: I’m looking for an amazing individual who is physically active, attentive, patient, a good communicator, and detail oriented with awesome attitude. Training is provided. Two-week trial period to start.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Range of motion
* Transferring using Hoyer lift
* Undressing and connecting catheter to overnight bag
* Cooking and preparing dinner
* Assistance with dental hygiene and flossing
* Assistance with Toileting
* Light cleaning, laundry, shopping and medication management
References required. Valid driver’s license a plus.
Non-drinkers/non-drug users preferred.
