Hi Stylists!
I recently took over Beach Bodies Salon in October and I’m looking for some wonderful new stylists to join my team! The salon is called Studio 822 now and is located at 822 Hermosa Ave. only one block from the ocean and close to the pier with lots of shops and restaurants. My name is Stacey Hayes and I've been at this location for over 15 years and I'm excited to have the opportunity to keep it going! The space was recently renovated with new floors, chairs, shampoo bowls and recessed lighting. We have a/c and heat, a Kitchen/workspace area and an awesome outdoor common area where clients can relax or you can get a lunch break. I've absolutely enjoyed all my years at this salon and I know you will too.

I would love to get a stylist that does some of the newer colouring techniques because I always refer my color clients to a colorist. This salon is in a great location and walk-in traffic is possible but we have always been an appointment only salon.
I only offer one hair extension technique so other extensionists would also be great. I think variety in options for clients is a must because different hair types need different techniques. If you are interested in learning my method I would be able to teach you.
The salon has 7 chairs currently and I'm open to part time rentals with a minimum of 3 days per week. I also have a daily rental rate available on ShearShare. If you have a product line you would like for back bar or to set up in our product area I am open to suggestions.
There are 5 first come, first serve parking spots available in the alley behind the salon for clients which really helps on the busy weekends. There is meter parking right in front of the salon also. I get my business license through Hermosa Beach so that I can purchase a parking pass because I prefer to have the parking in back for clients only. I would recommend getting the parking permit if you are working full time to avoid getting ticketed. I would also prefer stylists to carry insurance. I can recommend a carrier that is inexpensive and well worth having in case of any issues.
