We are seeking a passionate, friendly, articulate Pilates instructor for our studio in Los Altos. We have clients whose goals are mainly to get in shape, but many of our clients have special needs such as post-rehab, pre- and post-natal, and seniors. The ideal candidate has experience with special needs clients. We are growing rapidly, and are looking for instructors for our new and existing clients. If you have your own clients, we will be happy to accommodate them.
This position starts as part-time, but can develop into full-time. We are looking particularly for instructors with morning, evening and/or weekend availability, but are open to those with different schedules as well. Most of our clients are looking for private or semi-private instruction. Our small groups have up to 3 people in them.
Requirements: Candidates must be professional, responsible, and a team player. Bachelor of Science preferred, but not required if candidate demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills, teaching skills, and knowledge of anatomy and human movement. Comprehensive certification is required (at least 400 hours of instruction, teaching, and observation). A friendly person who is passionate about Pilates is a real plus!
