EKG Monitor / Telemetry Tech Full Time Position Available!

Dean’s Professional Services has partnered with Boston Scientific to hire qualified EKG Monitor Techs in South San Francisco, CA. This position is responsible for the interpretation and reporting of EKG data received for patients wearing company monitoring devices to assist physicians in diagnosing the patients.

This Telemetry tech position is an in-office role. The job is located at 400 Oyster Point Blvd, South San Francisco, CA. There’s several openings and referrals are welcome!

Job Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Formal EKG education such as a certificate from a school or third-party certification
o CET (Certified EKG Technician) – offered at some colleges and community colleges
o CCT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician)
o CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician)
• One year work experience
• Nationally accredited EKG Certification (CET, NRCEKG, etc.) required before starting work (we can help get your certified!)
• You must be available to work one of the scheduled shifts.
• There are no accommodate specific days or times off.
• Training is 6 - 8 weeks long, during the day on weekdays.
• You must be available to work the entire scheduled training shift.

Job Details:
• Day AND Night Shifts available: 9:00am-7:30pm OR 9:00pm-7:30am (10% shift differential)
• Salary: starting at $19/hour
• This position is not a temporary or contract opportunity, but you will work directly for Boston Scientific upon completion of onboarding.

Job Responsibilities:
• Process, analyze, interpret and edit EKG data
• Collect recordings and patient symptoms as needed
• Facilitate activation of EMS, if indicated
• Accurately document actions taken within patient records
• Facilitate orders for monitors and supplies
• Obtain patient transmissions and related symptoms
• Recognize abnormal cardiac rhythms/symptoms, and clearly communicate information to appropriate team member
• Ensure customer enrollment is entered correctly
• Address questions and educate patients, practices, and sales staff
• Fax serious and critical reports to practices and hospitals as requested
• Retain information that is job specific such as safety regulations and current policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned.
