Needed: Day time Caregiver and pair of hands
Quadriplegic woman in Santa Rosa needs assistance with everything.
Includes: Hoyer lift, toileting, showering, meal prep/feeding, dressing her and giving pills. Requires assistance for all activities of daily living.
Other activities include driving her to go shopping, appointments or other errands. Computer work, gardening, housekeeping, laundry and other projects. The client is intelligent and alert, but is physically weak, has trouble speaking and cannot use her hands or legs. She gets around in an electric wheelchair and communicates with a speaking device.
Pay: $25/hr
Hours: 10:00am - 6:00pm. Thursday or Friday |
REQUIRED:
• Cheerful attitude
• Valid driver's license
• CNA/HHA Certificate or experience REQUIRED
• No drugs, DUIs, or smoking.
• Must have a sense of humor and be prepared to tell a simple joke if client starts to cry.
(Joke does not have to be a good one, any joke will do.)
• Must like pets (client has one cat and one small dog)
