Speakeasy Fitness is a fast growing chain of fitness centers in Los Angeles.
We are looking for Bookkeeper to join our team.
Must be proficient in Quickbooks.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Perform payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner, and submit payroll taxes
-Conduct reconciliation of all bank accounts and credit cards
-Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner
-Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments
-Must have a strong understanding of GAAP-based accounting
-Perform journal entries as needed. Make books compliant with GAAP-based accounting
-Data Entry
-Organize and file payables receipts and any historical records
-Develop Company budgets by Location
-Payables & Receivables
-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Experience/ Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Financing, Accounting, or related field (required)
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience working in Accounting and Bookkeeping
- Proficient skills in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Schedule:
30 hours per week
5 days a week
Could include a weekend on occasions
Compensation/ Benefits:
$30/ Hourly
