Fashion/Lifestyle brand leader is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team. This position works closely with a friendly and cohesive team of professionals. This is a temporary to hire position that is 100% onsite in the office.

This is a full cycle Accounts Payable position where you will be responsible for overseeing the entire accounts payable process, from invoice receipt to vendor payments, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and compliance. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
Receive, review, and process incoming invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and adherence to company policies.
Obtain necessary approvals and verify supporting documentation for invoices.
Reconcile supplier statements, resolve discrepancies, and proactively address payment-related issues.
Prepare and execute electronic and manual payments in a timely manner.
Maintain organized and up-to-date vendor records, including contact information and payment terms.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and 1099 reporting.
Provide excellent vendor relations by responding to inquiries and resolving payment-related concerns.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounts payable function.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of high volume full cycle Accounts Payable experience.
Strong understanding of full cycle accounts payable processes and principles.
Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective vendor and cross-functional team interaction.

This position pays $27 per hour and full benefits and 401k are provided once hired full time.
