DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES| About the role
The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for: creating and processing customer and vendor invoices; entering payments; resolving customer and vendor inquiries and payment issues; reviewing and reconciling balance sheet accounts; and working with the Accounting Manager on close and audit processes. In addition, this position will act as a backup to the Accountant.
This role will report to the Accounting Manager.

As the ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST, you will be:
• Responsible for customer invoicing and payment application
• Responsible for vendor/customer credit memo processing
• Responsible for processing, reconciling, entering AP invoices, expense reports, purchase orders, sales tax and statements
• Perform reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts
• Support the sales and operation teams with orders/invoice inquiries
• Assist with month end close and annual audits
• Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE| About you
The ideal ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST:
• Strong background in A/P, A/R and general accounting (2-3 years)
• Experience with NetSuite preferred
• Proficient in MS office suite, especially Excel
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
• Accurate data entry skills
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

WORKING CONDITIONS
• Must be able to legally work in the USA
• Full-time, Non-exempt hourly employee ($24-$26 per hour)
• Must be able to work In the Fremont, CA office at least 1 day per week
