We are Happy Day Family Childcare Home and have been part of the community for over 12 years. Based in Watts we have become a fixture in our community helping countless families with their childcare needs. Our success is partially due to the teachers that are part of the team. We hire caring educators who are here because they are caring, motivated, and passionate. We are hiring a lead teacher capable of working with a mixed-age dual language classroom typically 2-5 year olds. Our childcare is organized and has a well-established developmentally appropriate curriculum. We believe that children learn best through play and interacting with each other. So we prioritize a play style of learning.
Our kids love to learn, dance, sing songs, and create theme-oriented art. The schedule is from 8 am-5 pm Monday - Friday and includes paid federal holidays off.
We are looking for a motivated individual with units and experience in Child Development.

Requirements Include:

12 ECE units and more

TB, Tdap, MMR proofs of current vaccinations.

Valid and Current CPR Certification

Mandatory Reporter Certification

Bilingual in Spanish (Prefered)

Self-starter with a positive attitude.
