Hello teachers, educators, slime makers & DIYers. Destination Science is hiring Teachers and Assistants for this summer. Spend your summer teaching STEM science to kids AGES 5-11 building rockets, rovers, roller coasters and playing camp games. Work alongside other educators to engage kids in hands-on science this summer.
Destination Science follows the traditional day camp schedule. Camp is Monday-Friday 8am-3pm; teachers will conduct 3 science stations per day to a group of 14 children. We also play camp games, sing silly songs and show a lot of camp spirit. Prep, teach, play and engage curious minds while learning some cool elementary STEM science and projects.
REQUIREMENTS: A love for kids; Experience with prepping and preparing lesson plans; Experience with teaching and managing a group of 10-14 children.
Not a lot of experience but like to play with kids? Be an Assistant - provide support to teachers and children; supervise and play games with campers.
CREDENTIALS - Not required however most of our teachers are credentialed or have experience working with kids through enrichment programs.
