I am selling my 1988 Chevy Turbo Sprint (manual.) The head gasket blew but engine is still in good shape with no cracks. The mechanic took the engine apart so you will either need to pay them to put it back together or fix it yourself. The gasket and other needed parts are there and paid for. If you want to fix it yourself you will need to tow it. It's an under appreciated car and incredibly fuel efficient, but the interior is cosmetically thrashed and paint is a bit faded from sun. It has been serviced regularly and has many years left if well-maintained. It could use a driver's seat cover and new window cranks. There is a tiny spot of rust beneath the windshield. It has about 200K miles on it. The clutch was replaced about 4 years ago and is in good shape. I'm hoping to get rid of it ASAP. My reason for selling it is that I recently moved to Koreatown where parking is a nightmare and everything is walkable/bikable and I can't justify paying for this latest repair. I'm asking for only $700 because I want to get it off the mechanic's lot ASAP.
