Inspired and inquiry-based philosophy located in the SFV.

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE:
We prefer someone with at least 24 units in child development, however we would consider the right candidate even with less units.
The following classes MUST be included and completed: Please do not apply if you do not have the following:
Growth and Development (3units)
Curriculum and classroom management (3units) The child and school community (3units)
Infant Toddler Studies (6units)
An elective class (3 + units)
Administration (9 units) desired but not required
Must have minimum of 1-2yrs in classroom teaching experience preferred (Experience must be working with children 2-6yrs old in a licensed setting)
Have knowledge of the Reggio Approach of teaching preferred but not mandatory to be considered. Must have child centered and inquiry based philosophy.
Candidate must be able to read, write, and speak fluent Spanish and English. Have excellent creative writing skills.
*Live in the San Fernando Valley or vicinities preferred.

MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONSIDERED:
(AA or BA) Preferred but not mandatory to be considered Completed minimum 24 units in child development (including 9 admin units)
Site Supervisor Permit desired.
Cleared fingerprints
Cleared TB test (current) Up to date immunizations
Cleared physical exam (current)
CPR up to date preferred but can complete after hired

*IN ADDITION MUST BE:
*Be loving, and enthusiastic, respectful to children, staff, and families
Must be open-minded and flexible. Be able to be objective and accept constructive criticism.
Able to handle administration duties. (filling, phones, emails, organization, etc.)
Able to handle licensing visits, paperwork, quarterly reports, billing, etc.
Able to handle and pay all accounts and billings (tuition, rent, bills, yearly licenses & permits, etc.)
Able to handle all enrollment and tuition.
Be able to supervise, support, assist staff with daily, weekly, monthly needs/ duties.
Be tech savvy, be able to keep up with on social media, understand technology

Work well with little or no supervision
Hard worker, punctual, and responsible
Self-Motivated
Committed to the field and job
Flexible and open minded
Willing to go above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of children and their families
