PathPoint is seeking a full-time Direct Support Professional to join our Project SEARCH team at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in West Los Angeles, CA. Project SEARCH is a unique one-year internship program that enables young adults with developmental disabilities to learn invaluable job skills in a competitive work setting. In this role, you will coach and support interns as they work through various job rotations. This is a full-time position for 40 hours per week, including both temporary remote work as well as in-person coaching.

Pay Rate starting at $16.50 Hourly Full Time

Responsibilities:

Coach and support interns at the internship site by teaching soft skills such as professional communication, behavior and grooming/hygiene, and hard skills specific to the internship duties.
Provide individualized support for students, including job coaching, building natural supports, identifying job accommodations, and use of assistive technology.
Collaborate with students, employers, staff, and other partners to creatively address any issues affecting students' training and employment.
Lead classroom discussions on a variety of employment-related skills.
Write case notes, monthly student evaluations, and other reports regularly.

We are a licensed program you will need to clear a background check and physical.
