Wage: Depending on Experience ($16.50-18, plus mileage)
Work Location: East County, San Diego - Santee, El Cajon, Lakeside, Ramona, Alpine

A day in DREAM BIG ILS might include a mix of the following:

Helping clients locate and access community resources such as SSI, Medi-Cal, Section 8, Rental Assistance, SNAP benefits, WIC, etc.
Providing assistance, support, and prompting to clients to complete their daily tasks.
Providing support for clients to solve daily issues that can cause them anxiety.
Assistance looking at weekly ads and informing clients how to find the best deals.
Assistance, guidance, and direction with looking up recipes and preparing meals.
Engaging in meaningful activities that support the client’s interests and preferences.
Assisting clients in making/attending medical and dental appointments.
Assisting clients to maintain their budget and pay their bills.
Completing daily Progress Notes in Google Drive.
Provide necessary assistance for clients to meet their various goals, such as learning disaster preparedness, maintaining a clean home environment, managing their medication tray, and more! We aim to help our clients do what they need to remain independent, productive members of the community.



What you need to succeed:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
2+ of prior hands-on experience with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities
Valid CA Driver’s License with a CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.
Access to a safe.
Efficiency in using smartphones, tablets, and computers.
Efficiency in using Zoom, GoogleDrive, GoogleSheets, and GoogleDocs.
A willingness to learn and a solution-based attitude.



Requirements:

CA Driver’s License
Proof
A safe, operable vehicle That is insured.
HS Diploma or GED
Ability to pass a background check
