L.A. Structural is a fully licensed California General Contractor firm specializing in foundation repair & replacement, multi-family and residential seismic retrofitting, structural upgrades, waterproofing, drainage systems, retaining walls & hillside stabilization. If it involves structural retrofitting with scopes of work using wood framing or forms, structural steel and supports, concrete or rebar then we do it.
We are a growing company and are looking for a Structural Accessor to add to our team. The Structural Assessor is someone who visits job-sites to investigate, diagnose and recommend solutions for the above scopes. You will have to be able to crawl under homes or navigate steep hillside slopes and be in good shape physically. To succeed or even be selected you must know this particular field and have a proven job experience having worked for one of our competitors doing these exact scopes of work as either a Supervisor who graduated to sales or a salesman who sold these exact scopes for several years. Only apply if you have a thorough understanding of these exact scopes of work and not other construction related fields. Also be able to furnish references that we will call to verify your experience.
The individual must have great understanding of permits and building code regulations.
The representative will be responsible for managing on site client interviews, finding out exactly what the customer needs and recommending the proper solution as well as estimating correctly the budget for the project.
To succeed you must be:
-Self driven and eager to assist potential clients with optimal solutions in an expedient manner and continue to follow up until you close the project.
-Knowledge of basic engineering concepts with the ability to learn and retain new knowledge quickly.
-High degree of problem solving capabilities, and ability to quickly assess unique potential and existing issues and their optimal solutions.
-Ability to adapt to an ever changing environment, where problems and solutions may vary dramatically.
-Must have a well kept personal vehicle for in person appointments.
