RDH – Registered Dental Hygienist (part time)
We are an established family dental practice office in Novato looking for a 1-2 day a week, part time hygienist. We are open Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and are looking for a hygienist for Monday and maybe one other day during the week. We are looking for someone who has good hygienist skills but is also friendly and likes people. Our atmosphere is professional but relaxed with an emphasis on personal care. Compensation:
• $60.00 to $65.00 per hour depending on experience, qualifications and skills.
Benefits:
• Paid time off and any other benefits will be prorated based on the number of days worked.
Qualifications:
• RDH license with current CPR cert.
• Basic knowledge of Dentrix
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience.
• Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Job duties:
• Greet patients and review medical history.
• Screen for dental concerns.
• Update necessary digital x-rays, periodontal probing.
• Prophylaxis or scaling and root planning as indicated utilizing hand and ultrasonic scalers.
• Utilize local anesthetics and antimicrobials as indicated.
• Document treatment into Dentrix software.
• Managing instruments and disinfecting treatment room.
