A growing legal practice focused primarily on transactional business matters is looking for an individual with strong writing skills and good legal judgment to grow with the business. Ideal candidate is waiting for bar results or is a new attorney who is ambitious and wants to get in on the ground floor of a growing legal practice, that plans to do things differently. The law industry is changing and I'm looking for someone who wants understands this.
Minimum Requirements:
JD - waiting for bar results is fine. Less concerned with academic accolades, but good credentials are of course nice.
Hard worker - We are looking for someone who will put in the hours, but will be rewarded for their effort.
Learns Fast - We have plenty of experience and are willing to teach, but we expect you to learn quickly
Enjoys writing Contracts and drafting legal documents - that's mostly what we do.
Can work remotely- Office is in OC but this is an online business.
Can work efficiently and meet deadlines.
In terms of Pay. We'd need to discuss. But something around an hourly $20-$25 plus a percentage of the money coming in. This is a very good opportunity for the right person. We want this relationship to be closer to a business partnership than a traditional employment arrangement. We need someone who wants to be in this with us.
