We are small Personal Injury Law Office looking for legal assistant/receptionist.

Must be motivated, organized, reliable, punctual, respectful, honest and a professional self-starter. Legal background and experience preferred. We are looking for a person with a very strong work ethic; a person who is eager to learn and make THE difference. Must show outstanding ability to follow instructions and at the same time be extremely organized.

Must have excellent telephone skills, and be a proficient computer user. Must have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook. Extremely good customer service skills are necessary.

Duties will include answering phones, filing and assisting the case manager in day to day assignments. For entry level positions previous experience in a law office is a plus, but NOT necessary.

Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.

The ideal candidate must be organized, detail-oriented and able to create a personal strategy on day-to-day operations.

Position Requirements/Responsibilities:

- Handle intake processes - interview potential clients, sending thank you letters and reporting claims to the insurance company.

- Answer Phones

- Communicate with clients

- Assist Case Manager with daily tasks.

- Mail, Fax, or Email legal correspondences to witnesses, insurances and other parties.

- Draft Correspondences

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
