ATTORNEY – LITIGATION ASSOCIATE (SANTA ROSA)
AV law firm, O’BRIEN WATTERS & DAVIS, is seeking a family law/litigation associate attorney.
Ideal candidates will have 1-3 years litigation experience, including some family law. The successful candidate will become part of a dynamic team working on cases including family law, trust and estate litigation, real property, contracts, personal injury and employment law. The successful candidate will also possess an exceptionally strong work ethic, the ability to multitask, and excellent analytical, communication as well as research and writing skills.
Responsibilities will include all aspects of litigation, including:
Client Contact;
Case Management;
Drafting and responding to discovery requests;
Law and Motion practice;
Taking and defending depositions;
Trial preparation and
Court appearances including assisting at trial
Training Program:
Mr. Watters has a formal litigation training program including in family law. Mr. Watters has worked with and trained over 24 attorneys during his 49-year career. Mr. Watters is a continuing presenter for the Sonoma county Bar Association on discovery, particularly on depositions and trial preparation techniques. For example, he presented 5 programs in 2022 on the subject of depositions.
