Hersch Pediatric Dentistry & Orthodontics is seeking an enthusiastic and confident Insurance and Collections Manager, ideally with experience, who is a confident communicator. We are looking for a new team member with excellent communication skills who will also help greet our patients and be a well-integrated, administrative team member.
We are a busy children's dental and orthodontic office. We are looking for a fun and outgoing, confident, hard-working and personable team player to work in our front office. Excellent communication skills and a smile are a must for this important position. Dentrix scheduling software experience is preferred but training is offered.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to verifying insurance eligibility and benefits, entering insurance payments, personal checks, credit cards, and virtual direct deposit payments, greeting patients with a smile, checking patients in and verifying information, confirming appointment purpose, scanning documents, notifying clinical staff and doctors of schedule changes, working with the appointment coordinator on the schedule, answering phones, calling and handling no shows or rescheduled patients and collecting patient payments. There are a total of 2 front office, administrative team members (including this position).
